Britney Spears denies rumours of a split from fiancé Jason Trawick

Singer Britney Spears is denying she and fiancé Jason Trawick have hit the skids. Spears, 31, now a judge on X Factor, told People.com 2012 has been “amazing” largely as a result of her improved personal life that at one point threatened to destroy her. “It amazes me that no matter what situation I’m in, Jason has the ability to make me feel protected and loved,” she said. Earlier reports suggested the lovebirds were ready to call it quits and cancel their wedding.A source told RadarOnline: “Things have been getting worse and worse with their relationship for several months now, and they know they have to figure things out once and for all because they can’t keep going on like this.”

Sources told the New York Post the twosome are planning to spend Christmas with her family in Louisiana, including her sister and mom Lynne.

Spears also appears to be taking her parenting responsibilities more seriously. She has two sons — Sean Preston, 7, and Jayden, 6 — with her former backup dancer and now ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

“It’s really amazing to see how quickly my boys are growing up,” she said. “It seems like yesterday I was reading books to them at night. Now I sit and listen to them read me books!”
